Author Guidelines

General Guidelines

  1. The manuscript should be written in English or Bahasa Indonesia and has never been published, is not under consideration elsewhere, and does not contain elements of plagiarism.
  2. The manuscript may take the form of research articles, case studies, or literature reviews related to the field of education and learning innovation.
  3. The author should be registered as an author in the journal system. Guidelines for registration and submission are provided at the bottom of this page.
  4. The manuscript will be published in Neoedu: Journal of Knowledge and Innovation after completing the peer-review process.
  5. The manuscript should be prepared in accordance with the Author Guidelines and must use the official journal template, which can be downloaded here.

Manuscript Preparation and Structure

  1. Title: The title should be concise, clear, and informative, not exceeding 15 words. It must reflect the core topic of the manuscript and should avoid uncommon abbreviations.
  2. Author’s Names and Affiliations: Author names should be listed with institutional affiliations, institutional addresses, and email addresses, without academic titles or job positions.
  3. Abstract: Abstracts must be written in both English and Bahasa Indonesia, 150–200 words in length, in a single paragraph. It should include the purpose, novelty, methods, key findings, and 3–5 keywords.
  4. Introduction: The introduction should provide the general background, relevant literature review, the main research problem, objectives, and methods used. The last part should clearly state the aim of the research.
  5. Content: This section presents research findings and analysis. Results must be supported by adequate data and address the research questions or hypotheses. The discussion should explain how results relate to the objectives (what/how), provide a scientific explanation for findings (why), and compare results with prior research.
  6. Conclusion: Conclusions must summarize the key findings and their relevance to the research objectives. Authors are encouraged to propose implications, ongoing studies, or directions for future research.
  7. References: Only sources cited in the text should appear in the References. Authors are encouraged to use reference management software (e.g., Mendeley, Zotero, EndNote). References should consist of 20–40 sources, with at least 80% from journal articles published in the last 10 years. Citation and references must follow the APA (7th edition) or IEEE style, consistently applied throughout the manuscript.
