Author Guidelines

General Guidelines

  1. The manuscript should be written in English (or Bahasa Indonesia) and must not have been published or under consideration elsewhere, and must be free from plagiarism.
  2. The manuscript can be in the form of original research articles, case studies, or literature reviews in the fields of economics, finance, banking, accounting, and management.
  3. Authors must be registered in the journal system as authors. Instructions for registration and submission are available at the bottom of this page.
  4. The manuscript will be published in Neoeco: Journal of Sustainable Economics after completing the peer-review process.
  5. The manuscript must follow the Author Guidelines and use the official journal template, which can be downloaded here.

Manuscript Preparation and Structure

  1. Title: Concise, clear, and informative, not exceeding 15 words. It must reflect the main topic of the manuscript and avoid uncommon abbreviations.
  2. Author’s Names and Affiliations: Author names should be listed with institutional affiliations, addresses, and email addresses, without academic titles or positions.
  3. Abstract: Abstracts must be written in both English and Bahasa Indonesia, 150–200 words, in a single paragraph. It should include background, objectives, methods, findings, and 3–5 keywords.
  4. Introduction: Provide the background of the study, a brief literature review, the research problem, and the objectives. At the end, clearly state the purpose of the research.
  5. Content: Present the research findings and analysis. Results should be supported by adequate data and should answer the research questions. Discussion must explain the significance of findings, compare them with previous studies, and highlight implications for economics, finance, or management practices.
  6. Conclusion: Summarize key findings in relation to the objectives. Provide insights for future research, implications for policy or practice, and potential areas of study.
  7. References: References must only include sources cited in the manuscript. Authors should use reference management software (e.g., Mendeley, Zotero). References should consist of 20–40 items, with at least 80% from journals published within the last 10 years. Citation and references should follow the APA 7th edition or IEEE style, consistently applied.
